The A.O.I. Electrical Air Bag Switch can be mounted on any hard, flat surface, such

as Plastic, Vinyl, Metal, etc… ( the switch will not

mount to cloth, carpet, velour…) We have

mounted the switch on kick panels, knee

bolsters, consoles, etc…

Per Federal Regulations, the “OFF” light must be visible

to the driver at all times. Therefore, if a customer would

like to mount the switch in the Glovebox, The A.O.I.

Electrical Remote Status Light (Optional)

must be utilized.

The A.O.I. Electrical Air Bag Switch is mounted with a double-sided adhesive, which

is manufactured by the 3M Corporation for the

automotive industry. The adhesive is very

aggressive, therefore once the switch is

adhered, removal is difficult.
