The Remote Status Light is designed to be mounted in a variety of locations within sight of the driver.  The new light is offered in order to address two major issues brought on by customer demand.

 













First, NHTSA states that the “OFF” light must be visible to the driver at all times, yet many customers want to mount the Air Bag On/Off Switch unit in the glove box. This accessory allows the customer to mount the switch in the glove box and have a visible “OFF” light mounted within sight of the driver.

 














Second, Many customers have asked for an indicator light that can be mounted within the field of vision of the driver.
